Speaking in an interview with Téléfoot, Lyon captain Nabil Fékir discussed the club’s aims for the rest of the season and his own future.
On last summer’s failed transfer to Liverpool:
That’s life, now we have to move on, it is the type of thing that happens in the career of a footballer, but it makes you stronger and you have to move forward. I really do not know what I will do (this summer), as I said to you I am happy at Lyon, the president believes in me, it is good. (On a contract extension) You will see!
On objectives for the rest of the season:
The Champions’ League is an aim for Lyon, and we also have this Coupe de France semi-final against Rennes, and it is a little while now since we won a trophy, it is an aim of the club’s. We are going to do everything we can to qualify for the final and to try to win it.
